As an Adoption Practitioner approved by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, Teresa is able to complete domestic and international homestudies. She is also a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Teresa holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, an Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University and an Adoption Studies Certificate through St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor.
As a mother to two children adopted from Hunan, China, Teresa has personal experience with the joys and complexities of international and trans-racial adoption. She continues being a strong advocate for building families through adoption.
